Minnesota Timberwolves (3-18) at Milwaukee Bucks (9-13), 8:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The struggling Minnesota Timberwolves will open a short two-game road trip tonight against the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center.
Minnesota has lost three in a row and eight of nine to fall to 3-18 on the season. In Friday's 99-88 loss to the Seattle SuperSonics at the Target Center, Al Jefferson was the leading scorer for Minnesota with 22 points and 16 rebounds.
Rashad McCants had 17 points in the loss, as Minnesota tied the worst start (1991-92) after 21 games in franchise history. The Timberwolves will also visit the Miami Heat and are 1-9 on the road this season.
The Bucks have lost five of their last six games, including Friday's 104-82 setback to the mighty Boston Celtics at TD Banknorth Garden.
Maurice Williams scored a team-high 14 points for Milwaukee, which is just 2-6 in the month of December and fell to 2-11 on the road this season. Bobby Simmons came off the bench to score 11 points in the loss.
Milwaukee is 7-2 as the host this season.
The Bucks went 2-0 against Minnesota last season and have won three straight and 12 of the last 16 meetings.
Minnesota has dropped three straight at the Bradley Center.
