Sacramento Kings (9-13) at Washington Wizards (12-10), 7 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Washington Wizards will try to stay on the winning track when they open a three-game homestand tonight versus the Sacramento Kings at the Verizon Center.
Washington has won three in a row and improved to 5-1 in December with Thursday's 104-91 victory over the Miami Heat at AmericanAirlines Arena. DeShawn Stevenson scored a season-high 26 points and Caron Butler ended with 19 points and 10 rebounds, as the Wizards snapped an eight-game losing streak at Miami.
Antawn Jamison added 16 points and a game-high 16 boards for Washington, which will host the Kings, Bulls and Hawks on the stand. The Wizards are 7-4 as the host this season.
Meanwhile, the Kings have won two of their last three games and improved to 1-1 on a five-game road trip with Friday's 109-99 triumph over the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center.
Brad Miller scored 25 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and dished out six assists to lead the Kings to their first road victory in 10 tries this season. Mikki Moore had 24 points in a winning effort. John Salmons scored 19 points and handed out five assists for Sacramento.
The Kings will also visit New Jersey and Milwaukee on the current trek.
The Wizards went 2-0 against Sacramento last season and have won the last four matchups in the series.
Sacramento has lost three of four and four of its last six games in D.C.
