Seattle SuperSonics (5-16) at Chicago Bulls (6-12), 8:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Seattle SuperSonics continue their five-game road trip when they visit the Chicago Bulls tonight at the United Center.
This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season. The SuperSonics will host the Bulls on February 4th at KeyArena.
The Bulls were 2-0 against Seattle last season. The SuperSonics have won nine of their last 13 at Chicago.
Seattle dropped the opener of the swing. On Sunday, Chris Paul scored 29 points and dished out 10 assists to lift the New Orleans Hornets to a 91-88 victory over the SuperSonics at New Orleans Arena.
Rookie phenom Kevin Durant finished with 23 points in the loss to New Orleans for the SuperSonics, who had a two-game winning streak halted. Nick Collison grabbed 12 rebounds for the SuperSonics, who shot just 37.8 percent from the field.
The SuperSonics, who have lost four in a row as the visitor, are 2-8 on the road this season. They will also visit New York, Minnesota and Utah on the current swing.
Chicago wraps up a two-game homestand against Seattle. On Saturday, Rajon Rondo scored 18 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and handed out five assists to lead the Boston Celtics over the Bulls, 92-81, at the United Center.
Andres Nocioni led the Bulls with 18 points off the bench, and Ben Wallace collected eight points and 14 rebounds for the Bulls, who had a two-game winning streak halted. Kirk Hinrich scored 16 and handed out six assists, while Luol Deng posted 15 points and seven boards in the loss.
The Bulls are 3-5 at home this season. Chicago is scheduled to visit the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday at Conseco Fieldhouse.
