Charlotte Bobcats (7-11) at Detroit Pistons (13-6), 6 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Detroit Pistons wrap up a short two-game homestand, as they host the Charlotte Bobcats tonight at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Detroit tries to rebound from a tough loss. On Friday, Andres Nocioni ended with 22 points off the bench as the Chicago Bulls downed the Pistons, 98-91, at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Chauncey Billups registered a game-high 27 points and seven assists in the loss to Chicago for the Pistons, who had a five-game winning streak halted. Richard Hamilton added 24 points in the defeat, while Rasheed Wallace netted 18 in the loss.
The Pistons will visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday at the FedExForum and the Houston Rockets on Wednesday at the Toyota Center. Detroit is 6-2 at home this season.
Charlotte tries to win back-to-back games. On Saturday, Gerald Wallace scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds as the Bobcats ended a seven-game slide with a 96-93 win over the LeBron James-less Cleveland Cavaliers at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
Emeka Okafor added 19 points and Jason Richardson posted 18 points and eight rebounds for the Bobcats, who picked up their first win since November 19th. Raymond Felton ended with 15 points, hitting all 10 of his free throws down the stretch, and dished out six assists to help Charlotte escape with the victory.
The Bobcats are 1-6 on the road this season. They have dropped six in a row as the visitor. Charlotte returns home to host the Clippers on Wednesday.
The Pistons and Charlotte split four contests last season. The Bobcats are 1-4 at Detroit.
