On the injury front for the Bobcats, guard Derek Anderson is questionable for Friday's game against Cleveland with a bruised right knee.
Cleveland, meanwhile, had a four-game winning streak stopped after Wednesday's 90-81 setback to the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena.
LeBron James had a game-high 31 points to go along with 10 rebounds for the Cavs, who suffered their first loss in the new year (4-1). Devin Brown added 12 points off the bench, while Drew Gooden had a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards in defeat.
In injury news for the Cavs, forward Anderson Varejao (knee/Achilles) is doubtful for Friday's game versus Charlotte.
Charlotte posted a 96-93 win over the Cavaliers on December 8 this season at Charlotte Bobcats Arena. It has won two straight against Cleveland, which is 9-3 all-time against the Bobcats.
