Utah Jazz (13-7) at Dallas Mavericks (12-8), 8:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Dallas Mavericks conclude a two-game homestand, as they host the Utah Jazz tonight at American Airlines Center.
Dallas has dropped two in a row. On Thursday, Allen Iverson followed up a sizzling 51-point performance against the Lakers by scoring 35 points, dishing out 12 assists and pocketing six steals to lead the Denver Nuggets past the Mavericks, 122-109, at American Airlines Center.
Reigning MVP Dirk Nowitzki ended with 32 points and 12 rebounds for the Mavericks, who have dropped three of their last four contests overall. Jerry Stackhouse came off the bench to record 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while Josh Howard netted 20 in defeat.
The Mavericks are 8-2 at home this season. They will visit the New York Knicks on Monday at Madison Square Garden and the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday at Air Canada Centre.
Utah has lost two in a row, and wraps up a three-game road trip. On Friday, Manu Ginobili scored 37 points for the second straight game, as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Jazz, 104-98, at the AT&T Center.
Carlos Boozer had 28 points and 17 rebounds for the Northwest Division-leading Jazz, who has dropped two straight after a three-game inning streak. Deron Williams also had 28 points and dished out 10 assists for the Jazz, who couldn't hold on to an early fourth quarter lead to lose for the 17th straight time in San Antonio.
The Jazz return home to host the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday at EnergySolutions Arena.
Utah was 2-1 against the Mavericks last season. The Jazz have still dropped seven of their last eight at Dallas.
