Miami Heat (0-3) at San Antonio Spurs (3-1), 8 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Miami Heat search for their first victory of the season, as they visit the defending world champion San Antonio Spurs tonight at the AT&T Center.
Miami has lost its first three games of the season for the first time since the 2003-04 campaign, when it dropped seven in a row to start the season.
On Sunday, Jason Richardson scored a game-high 29 points, including six three- pointers, as the Charlotte Bobcats held off a furious rally to beat the Heat, 90-88, at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Udonis Haslem led the Heat with 18 points and 10 rebounds in the loss to Charlotte, while Shaquille O'Neal had 17 points and nine boards for Miami, which dropped its third straight game to open this season. Ricky Davis contributed 12 points, and Dorell Wright netted 11 in defeat.
The Heat are 0-1 on the road this season. They return home to host Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns on Friday at AmericanAilrines Arena.
San Antonio tries to bounce back from a loss to Southwest Division-rival Houston. On Tuesday, Yao Ming poured in a game-high 28 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to lead the Rockets past the Spurs, 89-81, at Toyota Center.
Manu Ginobili scored 23 points and collected five steals for the Spurs, who lost their first game of the season after three consecutive victories. Tony Parker contributed 21 points and five assists in the loss, while Tim Duncan had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
The Spurs are 2-0 at home this season. They will visit Chris Paul and the New Orleans Hornets on Friday at New Orleans Arena.
Last season, the Spurs and Miami split a pair of contests. Miami has lost nine straight and is 1-19 at San Antonio.
