Orlando Magic (1-1) at Washington Wizards (0-2), 7 p.m.
(Sports Network) - Southeast Division rivals square off tonight, as the Orlando Magic visit the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center.
Washington tries to win its first game of the campaign, as it plays its first game of the 2007-08 campaign on its homecourt. On Friday, Kevin Garnett scored 22 points and pulled down 20 rebounds in his Boston debut to lead the Celtics over the Wizards, 103-83, in the club's season opener at TD Banknorth Garden.
Gilbert Arenas ended with 21 points but shot just 5-of-20 from the floor for the Wizards, who have lost two straight on the road to start their season. Caron Butler added 18 points and eight rebounds, while Antawn Jamison and Brendan Haywood both finished with 10 points apiece in the loss.
The Wizards, who have won two straight home openers, go back on the road when they visit the New Jersey Nets on November 8th at the Izod Center.
Orlando plays its first road contest of the season, as it begins a four-game road trip this evening. Ronald Murray scored 19 points off the bench, and the Detroit Pistons came away with a 116-92 win over the Magic on Friday at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Rashard Lewis scored a game-high 21 points for Orlando, which opened the 2007-08 campaign with a 102-83 home victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday at Amway Arena. Hedo Turkoglu scored 17 points, and All-Star Dwight Howard posted 16 points and 13 boards
The Magic will also visit Minnesota, Toronto and New York on the current road trip.
Last season, the Magic and Wizards split four meetings. Orlando has dropped three of its last four at Washington.
