Miami Heat (4-11) at Denver Nuggets (10-7), 8 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Denver Nuggets will resume a three-game homestand this evening versus the Miami Heat at the Pepsi Center.

Denver ended a three-game slide with Friday's 123-107 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in the opener of the stand. Allen Iverson scored 26 points and Carmelo Anthony added 24, as the Nuggets improved to 7-2 at home this season.

J.R. Smith knocked down 6-of-9 three-pointers and ended with 22 points for Denver, which will also host the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday. Marcus Camby had 12 rebounds and Eduardo Najera scored 10 points in the victory.

Miami will open a five-game road trip out west tonight and has alternated wins and losses over its last seven games.

In Friday's 95-85 setback to the Boston Celtics at AmericanAirlines Arena, Jason Williams scored a season-high 22 points off the bench. Udonis Haslem posted 18 points and 10 boards, while Shaquille O'Neal had 13 points and 11 boards in the loss.

Dwyane Wade ended with 10 points for the Heat, who will also visit Utah, Portland, Golden State and the Clippers on their trip. Miami is 2-5 away from South Beach this season.

Denver won both meetings with Miami last season and has won four straight and five of the last six meetings.

Miami has lost five in a row after winning its last six at the Pepsi Center.
