Houston Rockets (1-0) at Utah Jazz (1-0), 9 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Houston Rockets and Utah Jazz both try and stay undefeated on the young season, as they battle tonight at EnergySolutions Arena in a rematch of the 2006-07 playoffs.
Utah knocked off the Rockets in seven games in the first round of last season's playoffs.
The Jazz play their home opener and the first of a two-game homestand. On Tuesday, Carlos Boozer posted 32 points and 15 rebounds while Deron Williams netted 24 and handed out eight assists, as the Utah Jazz started the 2007-08 campaign with a 117-96 win over the Golden State Warriors at ORACLE Arena.
Ronnie Brewer poured in 18 points for Utah, which returned to the court following a loss to eventual-champion San Antonio in the Western Conference finals last season. Paul Millsap ended with 16 points, while Andrei Kirilenko collected nine points and 10 boards in the victory.
Utah will host Golden State on Saturday before going on the road to face the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday at the Staples Center.
Houston opened the season with a road victory. Tracy McGrady scored 30 points and Shane Battier drained a tie-breaking three-pointer with 2.5 seconds to play to lift Houston to a 95-93 win over the Lakers in the season-opener for both clubs a the Staples Center.
Yao Ming added 25 points and a game-best 12 boards for the Rockets, who finished 52-30 a year ago and gave Rick Adelman a victory in his Houston coaching debut. Mike James came off the bench to record 13 points and Battier contributed 11 points.
The Rockets welcome the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday to the Toyota Center for their home opener.
Houston has dropped three in a row and seven of its last eight on the road to the Jazz, who have won two straight in the series. Utah went 3-1 against Houston last season.
