Toronto Raptors (9-7) at Washington Wizards (7-9), 7 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Toronto Raptors shoot for their fourth straight win this evening, when they pay a visit to the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center.
Toronto completed a perfect three-game homestand with Friday's 91-82 win over the Lebron James-less Cleveland Cavaliers at Air Canada Centre. Andrea Bargnani scored a career-high 26 points and Carlos Delfino ended with a career-best 24 points with eight rebounds off the bench to lead the Raptors, who are riding their first three-game win streak of the season.
The Raptors played without leading scorer Chris Bosh, who strained his groin in Wednesday's game against Memphis. Bosh is doubtful for Saturday's game against the Wizards.
Washington has lost two straight and went 1-3 on a four-game road trip.
In Friday's 85-84 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center, Caron Butler had a game-high 20 points and Antawn Jamison tallied 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Wizards, who will open a five-game homestand tonight versus Toronto, Cleveland, Phoenix, New Jersey and Minnesota.
Saturday's game between Toronto and Washington is the first of the 2007-08 season. The Raptors went 3-1 in last season's series and have won four of five and five of the last eight meetings.
Toronto is 3-7 in its last 10 trips to D.C.
