NBA Preview from The Sports Network

Memphis Grizzlies (17-54) at Los Angeles Lakers (38-32), 10:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The red-hot Los Angeles Lakers go for their sixth straight win tonight, as they host the NBA-worst Memphis Grizzlies at the Staples Center.
The Lakers are No. 6 in the Western Conference playoff race, 2 1/2 games ahead of the seventh-seeded Denver Nuggets.
LA plays the second of a five-game homestand. On Sunday, Kobe Bryant's streak of scoring at least 50 points ended, but the Lakers continued their winning ways by defeating the Golden State Warriors, 115-113, at the Staples Center.
Bryant scored 43 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Los Angeles, which has won a season-best five in a row after a seven-game losing streak. Bryant, who hit 15-of-33 shots, had scored at least 50 points in his previous four games, becoming just the second player in NBA history to accomplish that feat.
Lamar Odom added 24 points and a career-high tying 19 rebounds, while Smush Parker added 13 points for LA, which used a 14-0 fourth-quarter run to help eliminate a double-digit deficit and defeat the Warriors.
The Lakers are 23-11 as the host this season. They will also play Houston, Sacramento and Denver on the current homestand.
Memphis plays the third of a six-game road trip. On Monday, Raja Bell had 29 points and Amare Stoudemire added 27 points and 12 rebounds to lift the Phoenix Suns to a 105-87 victory over the Grizzlies at US Airways Center.
Pau Gasol had 21 points and 10 boards for Memphis, which has lost four in a row and 12 of its last 14 games overall. Hakim Warrick finished with 12 points, while rookie Rudy Gay netted 13 in defeat.
The Grizzlies are a dismal 5-30 on the road this season. They will also visit Portland, Seattle and Golden State on the swing.
This is the fourth and final meeting between the squads this season. The Lakers won two of the three previous contest.
The Grizzlies have lost 19 of the 22 meetings at the Lakers.
