San Antonio Spurs (48-20) at Seattle SuperSonics (27-41), 9 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The playoff-bound San Antonio Spurs shoot for their third consecutive win tonight when they open a brief two-game road trip against the Seattle SuperSonics at Key Arena.

The Spurs are third in the Western Conference playoff race and made it two straight wins with Friday's 90-89 victory over the Detroit Pistons at the AT&T Center.

Tony Parker scored 22 points and dished out seven assists, as San Antonio held on for the one-point triumph on its home court. Tim Duncan posted 17 points and 14 rebounds for the Spurs, who have won 15 of their last 17 games.

San Antonio will also visit the Golden State Warriors and is 24-11 away from home this season.

Seattle, meanwhile, has won two of its last three games and will close out a three-game homestand this evening versus San Antonio. In Friday's 85-82 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves at Key Arena, Rashard Lewis scored 22 points to lead the Sonics.

Chris Wilcox had 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Earl Watson contributed 14 points and seven assists off the bench for Seattle, which is 1-1 on the stand and 19-16 as the host this season.

The SuperSonics are six games off the eighth and final playoff berth in the Western Conference.

Sunday's showdown between the Spurs and Sonics is the third of four matchups this season. San Antonio is 2-0 so far in the season series and has won three straight, six of seven and 13 of the last 16 meetings.

San Antonio has won two of its last three trips to the Emerald City.
