Los Angeles Lakers (35-32) at Memphis Grizzlies (17-51), 8 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Lakers shoot for their third straight win tonight when they pay a visit to the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum.

Los Angeles has won two in a row since a seven-game losing streak and posted a 109-102 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday at the Staples Center. Kobe Bryant followed up his 65-point performance against Portland by pouring in 50 points versus the Timberwolves.

Smush Parker finished with 19 points, a season-high nine assists and seven rebounds for the Lakers, who are tied with Denver for sixth in the Western Conference playoff race. Lamar Odom had 16 points, nine rebounds and eight assists and Luke Walton donated 10 points, 11 assists and eight boards in the win.

The Lakers, who open a brief two-game road trip this evening and will also play the Hornets on the current swing, and are 13-21 away from the City of Angels this season. In injury news for LA, forward Brian Cook (ankle) is probable for Thursday.

Memphis has dropped 12 of its last 15 games, including Tuesday's 114-103 setback to the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets at FedExForum.

Pau Gasol tallied 28 points and 10 boards for the Grizzlies, who have the worst record in the NBA and fell to 1-3 on a five-game homestand. Mike Miller finished with 13 points, while Chucky Atkins, Rudy Gay and Dahntay Jones all had 12 points.

The Grizzlies are 12-23 as the host this season. On the injury front for Memphis, veteran guard Damon Stoudamire (knee) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Lakers.

Thursday's showdown between Los Angeles and Memphis is the third of four meetings this season. The season series is split at a game apiece with the fourth and final meeting scheduled for March 27 at the Staples Center.

Memphis has won three of four and seven of the last nine meetings. The Lakers have lost six of their last seven games at the Grizzlies.
