Philadelphia 76ers (25-38) at Atlanta Hawks (25-39), 7 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The surging Philadelphia 76ers shoot for their eighth straight win when they wrap up a brief two-game road trip against the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena.

Philadelphia has won a season-high seven straight games and is riding the longest winning streak since ripping off nine straight wins from February 12 - March 2 of the 2002-03 season.

In Saturday's win over the Indiana Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse, Andre Iguodala poured in 25 points as the Sixers improved to 9-23 away from the City of Brotherly Love this season.

Willie Green scored 18 points and Andre Miller contributed 16 points, eight assists and five steals for Philadelphia, which moved to within four games of New York for the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Hawks have won three in a row since a six-game losing streak, and will wrap up a four-game homestand this evening.

In Saturday's 99-93 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Josh Smith scored a career-high 32 points on 12-of-15 shooting to lead Atlanta at Philips Arena. Zaza Pachulia had 16 points and 15 rebounds for the Hawks, who are 13-18 as the host this season. Josh Childress also scored 16 points in the win.

Atlanta is 4 1/2 games off the eighth and final playoff spot in the East.

Tuesday's showdown between Philly and Atlanta is the third of four meetings this season. The Sixers have won the first two matchups this season, three straight and seven of the last eight encounters with Atlanta.

Philadelphia has won eight of its last 13 at Atlanta.
