NBA Preview from The Sports Network

Friday, March 9th (All times eastern)

Los Angeles Clippers (29-31) at Golden State Warriors (28-35), 10:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Golden State Warriors go for their third straight victory when they welcome Pacific Division rival Los Angeles Clippers tonight to ORACLE Arena.

Golden State plays the finale of a three-game homestand. On Wednesday, two- time All-Star Baron Davis scored 22 points to lead the Warriors to a 110-96 victory over the Denver Nuggets.

Al Harrington posted 20 points and nine rebounds in the win for the Warriors, who have won two in a row after a six-game losing streak. Stephen Jackson added 18 points, while Andris Biedrins posted a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds and Jason Richardson collected 16 points in the victory.

The Warriors are 21-10 at home this season. They are scheduled to visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday at the Rose Garden.

The Clippers should be well rested as they attempt to get back on the winning track this evening. On Monday, Manu Ginobili led five players in double figures with 16 points along with eight rebounds to help the San Antonio Spurs beat the Clippers, 88-74, at Staples Center.

Corey Maggette led the Clippers with 19 points in the loss to San Antonio, while Elton Brand finished with 15 points for LA, which has dropped two of its last three games overall.

Los Angeles is just 8-20 as the visitor this season. The Clippers return home to host the Detroit Pistons on Sunday at the Staples Center.

On the injury front for the Clippers, forward Quinton Ross (right hip pointer) and veteran guard Sam Cassell (strained right groin) are questionable for tonight's contest.

This is the fourth and final meeting between the clubs this season. The Clippers have won two of the three contests.

The Clippers have lost two straight after winning their last three at Golden State.
