New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets (37-42) at Houston Rockets (50-29), 8:30 PM

(Sports Network) - The New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets open a season-ending three-game road trip, as they visit the playoff-bound Houston Rockets tonight at the Toyota Center.

New Orleans/Oklahoma City is two games behind Golden State and the Clippers for the eighth and final playoff berth in the Western Conference. On Friday, Carmelo Anthony scored 31 points as the playoff-bound Denver Nuggets rallied late to extend their season-high winning streak to eight games with a 107-105 win against the Hornets at the Ford Center.

David West had 31 points and 13 boards for New Orleans/Oklahoma City, which had a two-game winning streak halted. Chris Paul finished with 18 points and eight assists, while Rasual Butler, Marc Jackson and Bobby Jackson all scored 13 points for New Orleans/Oklahoma City.

The Hornets are 13-25 on the road this season. They will visit the Sacramento Kings on Monday at ARCO Arena and the Clippers on Wednesday at the Staples Center.

Houston has won three in a row, and plays the opener of a two-game homestand. Tracy McGrady posted 32 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, as the Rockets wrapped up a three-game road trip with a 99-95 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday at the Rose Garden.

Yao Ming notched 27 points and 12 boards for the Rockets, who are the fifth seed in the Western Conference playoff standings. Rafer Alston netted 23 for Houston, which has won six of its last nine games overall.

The Rockets are 26-13 at home this season. They will host the Phoenix Suns on Monday before ending the regular season on Wednesday at Utah.

New Orleans/Oklahoma City is 3-0 against the Rockets this season, and has captured seven of the last eight contests in the series. The Hornets have won four straight after losing their last three at Houston.
