Memphis Grizzlies (19-58) at Orlando Magic (34-41), 7 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Orlando Magic continue their push towards earning a playoff berth, as they welcome the NBA-worst Memphis Grizzlies tonight to Amway Arena.
Orlando is the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference playoff race, just a game ahead of Indiana and a game behind New Jersey for the seventh spot. The Magic have struggled as of late, losing two in a row and three of their last four games.
This is the second and final meeting of the campaign between the squads. On November 20th, Hakim Warrick scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Grizzlies to a 95-86 win over Orlando at FedExForum.
Memphis has won three of its last four at Orlando. The Grizzlies have won four in a row in the series.
The Magic conclude a four-game homestand this evening. On Wednesday All-Star Chris Bosh posted 28 points and nine rebounds to lead the Toronto Raptors over the Magic, 111-108, at Amway Arena.
Hedo Turkoglu finished with a career-high 37 points in the loss for the Magic, who are 1-2 on their current stand. Veteran Grant Hill scored 19 points and Dwight Howard was a force with 18 points and 15 rebounds in defeat.
Orlando is 22-16 at home this season. After tonight's game, the Magic embark on a three-game road trip at Milwaukee, Detroit and Philadelphia.
Memphis, meanwhile, has lost four in a row and suffered a 116-104 setback to the Golden State Warriors on Friday at FedExForum.
Tarance Kinsey netted 28 points and Pau Gasol chipped in 21 with 11 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who have lost eight of their last 10 games. Rudy Gay had 15 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, while Chucky Atkins added 15 points off the bench.
The Grizzlies are a dismal 7-32 on the road this season. After tonight's game, they will return home for a three-game stand versus Sacramento, Denver and San Antonio.
