Los Angeles Lakers (29-19) at Atlanta Hawks (18-28), 7 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Lakers resume an eight-game road trip this evening against the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena.

Los Angeles is 2-2 so far on the trek and posted a 118-102 victory over the Washington Wizards on Saturday at the Verizon Center. Kobe Bryant dropped in 39 points, pulled down six rebounds and dished out six assists to lead the Lakers, who are 10-13 on the road this season.

Lamar Odom added 19 points, 11 boards and five assists as the Lakers won for just the second time in their past six games. Smush Parker finished with 20 points, while Vladimir Radmanovic and Andrew Bynum had 12 points apiece.

LA will also visit Detroit, Toronto and Cleveland on the swing. The Lakers are 8 1/2 games off the top spot in the Pacific Division.

Meanwhile, the Hawks will open a two-game homestand and notched a 101-99 victory in overtime against the New Jersey Nets at Continental Airlines Arena.

Tyronn Lue was the hero with the game-winning shot as time expired, as Atlanta won for the fifth time in seven games. Joe Johnson had 37 points, including 14 in the third quarter, eight assists and five rebounds, while Josh Smith added 14 points and 10 rebounds in the win.

Atlanta will also host New Jersey and is 9-13 at Philips Arena this season. The Hawks are nine games off the lead in the Southeast Division.

Los Angeles defeated the Hawks, 106-95, on December 8 this season at the Staples Center. LA has won two of three and three of the last five meetings.

The Lakers have also won three of their last five at Atlanta.
