Golden State Warriors (16-15) at Sacramento Kings (12-15), 10 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Golden State Warriors open a three-game road trip this evening against the Sacramento Kings at ARCO Arena.
Golden State has won two straight and four of its last five games, including a 110-100 win over the Boston Celtics on Friday at ORACLE Arena. Baron Davis netted 27 points and dished out nine assists to lead the way.
Mickael Pietrus tied a season high with 26 points on 10-of-16 shooting for the Warriors, who are just 3-10 on the road this season. Andris Biedrins added 20 points and matched a career high with 17 rebounds, while Matt Barnes and Jason Richardson each had 13 points in the victory.
The Warriors, who will also visit the Hornets and Grizzlies on the trek, are 5 1/2 games off the lead in the Pacific Division.
Meanwhile, the Kings had a brief two-game winning streak halted with Friday's 102-93 setback to the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center.
Mike Bibby scored 26 points for the Kings, who lost for the 10th time over the previous 14 games. Brad Miller scored 15 points and Kevin Martin added 14 in a losing cause.
Sacramento will now start a five-game homestand against Golden State, New York, the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland and Cleveland. The Kings are 8-7 at ARCO Arena in 2006-07.
The Warriors are 2-0 against Sacramento this season and have won three of four and six of the last eight meetings.
Golden State has won three of its last four games at ARCO Arena.
