(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Clippers start a three-game road against the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight at the Target Center.
The Clippers attempt to put the brakes on a two-game losing streak. On Wednesday, Rashard Lewis scored a season-high 35 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to lead the Seattle SuperSonics over the Clippers, 95-85, at the Staples Center.
Tim Thomas came off the bench and led the Clippers with 15 points on 6-of-14 shooting from the floor, while veteran Sam Cassell netted 13 in the loss to Seattle. Center Chris Kaman scored 12 points and grabbed 14 rebounds and Quinton Ross scored 11 in defeat.
LA is 0-3 as the visitor this season. The Clippers are scheduled to visit the Denver Nuggets on Sunday at the Pepsi Center and the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday at ARCO Arena.
Minnesota tries to win three in a row for the first time this season. On Friday, Ricky Davis ended with a game-high 23 points to lead the Timberwolves past the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets, 86-79, at the Ford Center.
Kevin Garnett had 18 points and 16 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who have won two in a row. Mark Blount and Marco Jaric both had 11 points and seven rebounds in the win.
The Timberwolves are 3-2 at home this season.
The Clippers have lost 11 of their last 13 at Minnesota. The Clippers won three of four from the Timberwolves in 2005-06.
