(Sports Network) - The Seattle SuperSonics try to make it two straight wins when they visit the Los Angeles Clippers tonight at the Staples Center.

All-Star Ray Allen poured in a game-high 29 points, pulled down nine rebounds and dished out five assists to lead the SuperSonics to a 99-87 win over the New Jersey Nets at KeyArena.

Rashard Lewis scored 20 points in the win for the SuperSonics, while Luke Ridnour finished with 14 points for Seattle, which halted a three-game skid.

The SuperSonics are 3-4 as the visitor this season. After tonight's contest, Seattle returns home for a four-game stand. The Sonics are scheduled to host Sacramento, San Antonio, Orlando and Indiana on the upcoming homestand.

The Clippers are a perfect 6-0 as the host this season. On Tuesday they were the visitor against the Lakers. Superstar Kobe Bryant scored a season-high 40 points to lift the Lakers over the Clippers, 105-101, in an intra-city showdown at the Staples Center.

Elton Brand posted a double-double with 20 points and 15 rebounds, while Corey Maggette also finished with 20 points in the loss for the Clippers, who have dropped two of their last three contests overall.

The Clippers hit the road for a three-game swing after tonight's game. They will visit Minnesota, Denver and Sacramento on the road trip.
