Sacramento Kings (17-25) at Memphis Grizzlies (11-34), 8 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The struggling Memphis Grizzlies continue their five-game homestand this evening when the Sacramento Kings pay a visit to FedExForum.
Memphis has dropped two straight and suffered a 135-132 double-overtime loss to the Portland Trail Blazers in the opener of the stand on Saturday. Mike Miller posted 28 points and eight rebounds for the Grizzlies, who are last in the Southwest standings.
Pau Gasol was questionable for the game with a hamstring problem, but notched 24 points and 14 rebounds. Chucky Atkins scored 23 points and Hakim Warrick had 20 off the bench in a losing cause.
The Grizzlies own an 8-14 record at FedExForum this season and will also host Dallas, Indiana and Houston.
Sacramento will resume its four-game road trip tonight and has lost the first two contests of the swing. On Saturday, the Kings dropped a 106-104 decision to the Mavericks at American Airlines Center.
Ron Artest netted 25 points with six rebounds and Kevin Martin had 21 points for the Kings, who fell to 5-14 on the road this season. Corliss Williamson totaled 20 points off the bench.
The Kings, who will close out the trip at Minnesota on Wednesday, are bottom feeders in the Pacific Division.
Sacramento defeated Memphis, 115-111, on November 15 this season and has won two straight, three of four and six of the last eight meetings.
Both squads have split the last eight encounters in Memphis.
