Los Angeles Clippers (11-15) at Utah Jazz (20-8), 9 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The surprising Utah Jazz welcome the disappointing Los Angeles Clippers tonight to EnergySolutions Arena.
This is the third meeting of the season between the clubs. The Jazz won the two previous contests, winning at home and at the Staples Center.
The Clippers have lost seven straight and 33 of their last 34 at Utah. The Jazz have won three of the last four contests in this series.
Los Angeles is scheduled to host the Jazz on March 23, 2007 at the Staples Center in the fourth and final contest of the campaign between the squads.
Utah will try and make it two wins in a row. Carlos Boozer poured in 24 points, pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out five assists to lead the Jazz past the Memphis Grizzlies, 100-97, on Saturday at FedExForum.
Mehmet Okur posted 20 points and grabbed nine boards in the win over Memphis for the Jazz, while Deron Williams scored 17 points and dished out nine assists for Utah.
The Jazz are an impressive 11-2 at home this season. They will visit Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday at the AT&T Center.
LA plays the finale of a three-game road trip. Tim Thomas scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Clippers past the Houston Rockets, 98-93, on Saturday at the Toyota Center.
Thomas was joined by five other Clippers with double figures in the win over Houston, while Cuttino Mobley scored 18 points for LA, which snapped a six- game losing streak. Elton Brand scored 16 points and grabbed seven boards, and Chris Kaman netted 15 points and pulled down 11 boards.
The Clippers, who lost to Dallas in the opener of the current swing, are a dismal 2-9 on the road this season. After tonight's contest, they return home to host Boston, Sacramento and New York during a three-game homestand at the Staples Center.
