Los Angeles Clippers (6-2) at Los Angeles Lakers (7-3), 10:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - Cross-town rivals meet tonight, as the streaking Lakers act as the host against Clippers at the Staples Center.
The Clippers have won four of the last six meetings in this series. They have lost 15 of 18 and 19 of their last 23 at the Lakers.
The Lakers try to record their fourth straight victory as they play the finale of a five-game homestand. Lamar Odom scored 23 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Lakers to an 82-72 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday at the Staples Center.
Superstar Kobe Bryant scored 18 in the win over the Bulls for the Lakers, while center Andrew Bynum finished with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
The Lakers are 6-1 as the host this season. They will visit the Utah Jazz on Friday at they Delta Center.
The Clippers try to pick up their second win in a row. On Saturday, Elton Brand poured in 33 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the Los Angeles Clippers rallied to beat the Philadelphia 76ers, 103-97, in overtime at the Staples Center.
Corey Maggette collected 21 points and eight rebounds off the bench in the win over the Sixers for the Clippers, who remained undefeated at home (6-0). Quinton Ross scored 14 for the Clippers, while veteran Sam Cassell added 12 points and nine assists.
The Clippers are 0-2 as the visitor this season. They will host All-Star Ray Allen and the Seattle SuperSonics on Wednesday at the Staples Center.
