Golden State Warriors (14-14) at Miami Heat (11-14), 7:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Golden State Warriors wrap up a six-game road trip when they visit the defending world champion Miami Heat tonight at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Golden State is 2-3 on the swing. On Friday, Baron Davis ended with a season- high 38 points and nine assists to lead the Warriors to a 117-108 win over the Orlando Magic at Amway Arena.
Mike Dunleavy netted 21 and Monta Ellis scored 18 in the victory over the Magic for Golden State, while Mickael Pietrus finished with 15 points in the victory.
The Warriors are 3-9 on the road this season. They will host the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday and the Boston Celtics on Wednesday at ORACLE Arena.
The Heat try to get back on the winning track as they begin a brief two-game homestand. On Wednesday, Maurice Williams posted 19 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for his first-career triple-double as the Milwaukee Bucks pounded Miami, 121-95, at the Bradley Center.
All-Star Dwyane Wade posted 27 points and eight assists in the loss to Milwaukee for the Heat, who failed to extend their winning streak to three games. Dorell Wright scored 14 points and Antoine Walker netted 13 and pulled down eight boards in defeat.
Miami is 6-7 at home this season. The Heat will host Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas Day.
This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season. The Warriors will host the Heat on January 12, 2007 at ORACLE Arena.
Golden State defeated Miami, 111-106, on March 10, 2006 at AmericanAirlines Arena. The Warriors snapped a 10-game road losing streak to the Heat.
The Heat have won four of the last five contests in this series.
