Orlando Magic (7-3) at Memphis Grizzlies (1-8), 8 p.m.
(Sports Network) - Two teams heading in opposite directions square off this evening, as the Memphis Grizzlies host the Orlando Magic at FedEx Forum.
The Magic have won four in a row and posted a 97-83 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday night. Dwight Howard poured in 24 points and grabbed 21 rebounds to lead Orlando at TD Waterhouse Center.
Howard finished 7-of-12 shooting and converted 10-of-13 from the charity strip for the Magic, who have won six of their last seven games. Grant Hill scored 15 points and Darko Milicic contributed 14 off the bench in the victory.
Meanwhile, the Grizzlies are caught in a seven-game losing streak and own just a 1-8 record this season.
The losing ways continued for Memphis on Saturday, when it suffered an 89-84 loss against the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center. Rudy Gay led the Grizzlies with 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting with seven boards. Chucky Atkins had 17 points and Lawrence Roberts added 11 off the bench, but Memphis lost its seventh straight game.
On a brighter note, the Grizzlies went 2-0 against Orlando last season and have won three straight and seven of the last eight meetings in the series.
Orlando has lost four straight after winning its last four at the Grizzlies.
