(Sports Network) - The Allen Iverson era in Philadelphia is officially over as the new-look Sixers take the court this evening against the Indiana Pacers at the Wachovia Center.
Iverson and forward Ivan McFarlin were dealt to the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday in exchange for guard Andre Miller, forward Joe Smith and a pair of 2007 first-round draft picks. The status for Miller and Smith on Wednesday night is uncertain.
Miller is averaging 13 points per game and 9.1 assists in 23 games for Denver this season and will take over as Philadelphia's point guard. In 594 career games, Miller has scored 14.1 points per contest and 7.6 assists per game.
The Sixers have dropped 11 in a row and the most since a 13-game losing streak from December 28, 1996 to January 20, 1997. Philadelphia's streak continued with Saturday's 103-98 loss at San Antonio.
Andre Iguodala led Philadelphia with 27 points and seven rebounds. Kevin Ollie scored 19 points for the Sixers, while Willie Green tallied 18 points. Kyle Korver and Alan Henderson both scored 13 points, with Henderson pulling down nine boards in the losing effort.
Meanwhile, Indiana, which was in the running for Iverson, had a two-game winning streak stopped with Sunday's 104-94 loss to the Utah Jazz. Jermaine O'Neal poured in 31 points and grabbed nine boards for the Pacers, who have lost three of their last five games. Stephen Jackson scored 16 points and Danny Granger and Sarunas Jasikevicius both had 12 points.
The Pacers defeated Philadelphia on November 7 this season by a 97-86 score at Conseco Fieldhouse. Indiana has won three straight and seven of the last 12 games.
Indiana has won three of its last five trips to Philadelphia.
