(Sports Network) - The New Jersey Nets have alternated wins and losses in every game this season and will host the Milwaukee Bucks tonight at Continental Airlines Arena.
In their last game on Monday the Nets suffered a 119-113 home loss to the Seattle SuperSonics. Vince Carter scored a season-high 38 points and Nenad Krstic scored 21 points to lead New Jersey.
Jason Kidd recorded 20 points and 12 assists to pass Rod Strickland for seventh on the all-time assists list. Rookie Marcus Williams finished with a career-high 11 points in defeat.
The Bucks, meanwhile, ended a four-game losing streak with Tuesday's 103-101 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. Michael Redd scored 30 points and completed the go-ahead three-point play with 27.6 seconds left in the game.
Ruben Patterson added 16 points and came up with a steal at the end of the game for the Bucks, who overcame a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter. Mo Williams tallied 15 points, while Andrew Bogut had 13 and Charlie Villanueva 12 for Milwaukee.
However, Villanueva left the game in the first half with a left elbow sprain and did not return. Villanueva's arm was in a sling after the game and he is expected to miss some time.
New Jersey won three of the four meetings with Milwaukee last season. The Bucks, though, have won six of 10 and seven of the last 12 meetings.
Milwaukee has lost two of three and six of its last nine trips to New Jersey.
