Memphis Grizzlies (5-18) at Miami Heat (9-13), 7:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Memphis Grizzlies will try and halt a five-game losing streak tonight when they visit the Miami Heat at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Memphis has also dropped eight of its last nine games, including Friday's 97-88 setback to the Atlanta Hawks at FedEx Forum. Chucky Atkins poured in 18 points off the bench on 5-of-11 from the field and Hakim Warrick donated 16 points for the Grizzlies.
Alexander Johnson had 15 points, Rudy Gay added 13 points and Mike Miller ended with 11 and nine rebounds, as Memphis hits the road to work on its 2-11 mark away from home this season.
Miami, meanwhile, is also struggling and has lost two straight and three of its last four games.
On Friday the Heat dropped a 106-95 decision to the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center. James Posey led the Heat with 26 points off the bench, while Alonzo Mourning added 17 points and eight boards in defeat.
Antoine Walker added 12 points for Miami, which played without star guard Dwyane Wade. Wade is questionable for Saturday's contest after having his wisdom teeth removed last week.
Miami will return home to host Memphis and New Orleans/Oklahoma City and owns a 4-7 record at AmericanAirlines Arena this season.
The Heat topped the Grizzlies 98-97 on December 2 this season at FedEx Forum. They have won three in a row, four of five and six of the last 10 meetings with Memphis, which has dropped three straight at Miami.
Memphis is 3-7 all-time in South Beach and trails the overall series with Miami by a 14-7 margin.
