Portland Trail Blazers (4-3) at Minnesota Timberwolves (2-4), 8 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Portland Trail Blazers will try to get back on the winning track tonight when they open a four-game road trip against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center.
The Blazers had a brief two-game winning streak halted with Sunday's 103-96 loss to the Dallas Mavericks at the Rose Garden. Jarrett Jack had 20 points and 10 assists for his first career double-double and Zach Randolph added 20 points and nine rebounds in the setback for the Trail Blazers.
Portland is 1-2 on the road this season and will visit Cleveland, Boston and New Jersey after Tuesday's tilt in Minnesota.
Meanwhile, the Timberwolves have dropped four in a row after winning their first two games of the 2006-07 campaign.
On Saturday, Minnesota suffered a 109-98 home loss to the Orlando Magic. Kevin Garnett scored 28 and grabbed 11 rebounds in a losing effort, while Ricky Davis scored 16 points.
Mike James added 14 points in a losing cause, while Mark Blount and rookie Randy Foye scored 13 each for the Timberwolves.
This is the second meeting of the season between Portland and Minnesota, as the Blazers notched an 88-86 triumph on November 4 at the Rose Garden. Juan Dixon hit a three-pointer with 6.2 seconds left to put Portland ahead and Garnett missed a foul-line jumper as the buzzer sounded.
The Trail Blazers have won three straight after losing the last six meetings with Minnesota. Portland has lost five of seven and nine of its last 13 games at the Target Center.
