(Sports Network) - The Miami Heat and New Jersey Nets meet for the second time this season when they square off at Continental Airlines Arena.
On November 3rd, Shaquille O'Neal poured in 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Heat past New Jersey, 91-85, at AmericanAirlines Arena. O'Neal finished 10-of-16 from the floor and Dwyane Wade had 17 points and five assists for Miami.
Miami has won seven of the last 10 contests in this series. The Heat have lost two straight after winning their last two at New Jersey.
The Heat try to win their second straight game and climb above the .500 mark for the first time this season. On Wednesday, Wade came off of a screen and roll, drew the defense, and dished the ball to a curling James Posey, who drained the go- ahead three with 19 ticks left to give Miami a 90-87 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Wade led all scorers with 31 points and Alonzo Mourning filled in for Shaq with 13 points and six boards in the win over Seattle. Antoine Walker ended with 12 points and Udonis Haslem netted 11 in the victory.
O'Neal is questionable for tonight's contest with a bruised left knee. He is averaging 14.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in the two games he has appeared in.
Miami is 0-1 on the road this season. The Heat lost to the Philadelphia 76ers, 107-98, on November 5th at the Wachovia Center.
New Jersey plays the finale of a short two-game homestand. Vince Carter scored 30 points and pulled down eight rebounds as the Nets handed the Utah Jazz their first loss of the season with a 96-89 victory at Continental Airlines Arena.
Richard Jefferson added 23 points in the win over Utah for New Jersey, while Jason Kidd netted 15 and grabbed six boards for the Nets, who shot 42 percent from the floor after a four-day layoff. Antoine Wright ended with a career- high 15 points in the contest.
