Atlanta Hawks (8-10) at Sacramento Kings (8-10), 9 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The struggling Sacramento Kings try to put the brakes on a five-game losing streak, as they welcome the Atlanta Hawks tonight to ARCO Arena.

This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season. The Hawks are scheduled to host the Kings on March 19, 2007 at Philips Arena.

Atlanta has lost six straight after winning its last four at Sacramento. The Kings have won six straight and 10 of the last 11 meetings in this series.

Sacramento wraps up a brief two-game homestand. On Thursday, Dwyane Wade just missed a triple-double with 32 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists as the Miami Heat blew a big fourth-quarter lead before beating the Kings in overtime, 93-91, at ARCO Arena.

Mike Bibby had 20 points in the loss to Miami for the Kings, while Brad Miller and Ron Artest both scored 15 points for Sacramento, which has dropped eight of its last 11 games overall.

The Kings are 6-4 at home this season. They have dropped two in a row at ARCO Arena.

Atlanta plays the finale of a five-game road trip this evening. It is 2-2 on the current swing. On Friday, Luke Walton scored a career-high 25 points to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 106-95 win over the Atlanta Hawks at the Staples Center.

Joe Johnson scored 30 in the loss to the Lakers for the Hawks, who have dropped two of their last three games. Josh Smith scored 17 and pulled down 11 boards, while Zaza Pachulia added 12 points and nine rebounds in defeat.

The Hawks are 4-6 on the road this season. They return home to host Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday at Philips Arena.
