Utah Jazz (23-10) at Denver Nuggets (16-14), 9 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The struggling Denver Nuggets open a four-game homestand when they welcome the Northwest Division-leading Utah Jazz tonight to the Pepsi Center.
This is the first if four meetings this season between the clubs.
Utah has lost four of six and five of its last nine at Denver. The Jazz have won three in a row in this series.
The Nuggets have dropped four straight games. On Friday, Smush Parker scored 23 points and the Los Angeles Lakers crushed Denver, 123-104, at the Staples Center despite only eight points from LA superstar Kobe Bryant.
Earl Boykins led the Nuggets with 24 points off the bench in the loss to the Lakers, while Allen Iverson scored 16 points on 5-of-17 from the floor. Marcus Camby scored 14 points and grabbed 12 boards for the Nuggets, who are 2-5 with Iverson in the lineup.
Denver is 9-7 at home this season. The Nuggets will also host Milwaukee, San Antonio and Houston on the current homestand.
Utah wraps up a short two-game road trip. Tracy McGrady scored 44 points to lead the Houston Rockets over the Jazz, 100-86, on Friday at the Toyota Center.
Deron Williams had 19 points and eight assists in the loss to Houston for the Jazz, who had a two-game winning streak halted. Andrei Kirilenko added 16 points and Carlos Boozer had 15 points and 17 rebounds in defeat.
The Jazz are 9-8 on the road this season. They return home to host the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday at EnergySolutions Arena.
Utah owns a 5 1/2 game lead over the second-place Nuggets in the Northwest Division.
