NBA Preview from The Sports Network

Saturday, December 2nd (All times eastern)

Milwaukee Bucks (5-10) at Golden State Warriors (9-7), 10:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Golden State Warriors play the finale of a four-game homestand when they host the Milwaukee Bucks tonight at ORACLE Arena.

Milwaukee has won six of its last eight at Golden State. The Warriors have won four of the last five in this series.

The Bucks are scheduled to host Golden State on February 27, 2007 at the Bradley Center in the second and final meeting of the season between the clubs.

Golden State tries to get back on the winning track this evening. On Wednesday, Stephen Jackson drilled a three-pointer with one second left in the game, and Mike Dunleavy threw away the ensuing inbounds pass to give the Indiana Pacers a 108-106 win over the Warriors at ORACLE Arena.

Monta Ellis led the Warriors with 27 points in the loss to Indiana, while Baron Davis scored 24, grabbed nine rebounds, and handed out nine assists for Golden State, which had a two-game winning streak halted. Dunleavy scored 19 points and Mickael Pietrus added 12 in defeat.

Warriors head coach Don Nelson is just one win away from becoming just the second coach in NBA history to win 1,200 games in their coaching career. Lenny Wilkens collected 1,332 victories during his coaching career.

Golden State is 8-4 at home this season. After tonight's game, the Warriors embark on a two-game road trip. They will visit the San Antonio Spurs on Monday and the Houston Rockets on Tuesday.

The Bucks play the third of a four-game road trip. On Friday they suffered a 122-116 loss to the Phoenix Suns at US Airways Center.

Michael Redd poured in 37 points on 12-of-20 from the floor and converted 12- of-15 from the charity stripe for the Bucks, who have dropped five of their last seven.

Mo Williams netted 31 points with 10 rebounds and five helpers and Ruben Patterson added 16 points in defeat.
