Los Angeles Clippers (30-20) at Golden State Warriors (23-28), 10:30 p.m. (Sports Network) - Pacific Division rivals meet tonight, as the Golden State Warriors host the Los Angeles Clippers at The Arena in Oakland.
This is the final game for both clubs before the All-Star break.
Golden State wraps up a two-game homestand this evening. On Monday, Pau Gasol finished with 23 points and scored the winning bucket at the buzzer as the Memphis Grizzlies edged the Warriors, 81-79, at The Arena in Oakland.
Derek Fisher paced Golden State with 21 points and nine assists in the loss to Memphis, while Mike Dunleavy ended with 15 points and eight rebounds for the Warriors, who have dropped three of their last four games overall.
Golden State played Memphis without Baron Davis and Troy Murphy, both of whom were nursing ankle injuries. Davis is doubtful for tonight's contest, while Murphy is questionable.
The Warriors are 14-14 as the host this season. They have lost four of their last seven at home.
LA opens a three-game road trip. On Tuesday, Tracy McGrady poured in 28 points and dished off five assists to lead the Houston Rockets over the LA Clippers, 128-97, at the Staples Center.
Sam Cassell posted 25 points and handed out six assists in the loss to Houston for the Clippers. Cuttino Mobley ended with 23 points, while Elton Brand netted 21 for Los Angeles, which has lost two straight and three of its last four games.
The Clippers are a respectable 13-11 as the visitor this season. They will also host Dallas and Houston on the current swing.
This is the fourth and final game of the season between the clubs. This Clippers won the three previous contests.
The Clippers have won seven straight after losing the last two meetings in this series. The Clippers have won eight of their last 10 at Golden State.
