Sacramento Kings (17-21) at Orlando Magic (15-22), 7 p.m.
(Sports Network) - Two teams with winning streaks meet tonight, as the Orlando Magic welcome the Sacramento Kings to TD Waterhouse Centre.
This is the second and final meeting of the season between the clubs. On January 15th, Mike Bibby scored a career-high 42 points on 13-of-23 shooting from the floor to lead the Kings over Orlando, 104-100, at ARCO Arena.
Sacramento has won two straight and five of the last six meetings in this series. The Kings have lost nine of their last 13 at Orlando.
The Magic have won two in a row and play the first of a brief two-game homestand. On Friday, Hedo Turkoglu came off the bench to net a game-high 24 points, as Orlando defeated Charlotte, 104-93, on the Bobcats homecourt.
Dwight Howard finished with 19 points 21 rebounds in the win over Charlotte for the Magic. In his second game since returning from a suspension, Steve Francis poured in 13 points and dished out six assists in the victory.
Orlando, which will host the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, is 10-9 as the host this season. The Magic have won five in a row at TD Waterhouse Centre.
Sacramento begins a season-long six-game road trip and enters tonight's game on a three-game winning streak. On Thursday, Mike Bibby scored 40 points and Kenny Thomas posted his first career triple-double, as the Sacramento Kings outlasted the Los Angeles Lakers, 118-109, in an overtime thriller at ARCO Arena.
Thomas had 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in the win over the Lakers for the Kings. Brad Miller finished with 16 points and 10 boards, while Peja Stojakovic contributed 13 points and 10 rebounds in the victory.
The Kings are 5-10 on the road this season. They will also play Miami, Philadelphia, New York, Boston and Toronto on the current road trip.
