New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets (11-14) at Milwaukee Bucks (14-9), 8:30 PM
(Sports Network) - The Milwaukee Bucks wrap up a three-game homestand tonight when they welcome the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets to the Bradley Center.
Milwaukee is 1-1 on its current stand and comes into tonight's game off an emotional victory. On Tuesday, rookie Andrew Bogut scored as time expired in overtime to lift the Bucks over the world champion San Antonio Spurs, 109-107, at the Bradley Center.
Bogut finished Tuesday's game with 19 points and nine rebounds, while Maurice Williams scored 28 points and T.J. Ford finished with 15 points, six rebounds and eight assists for the Bucks, who have won two of their last three games overall.
The Bucks, who lost to the Utah Jazz on Saturday in the opener of the current homestand, are 7-5 as the host this season. They have split their last six games at the Bradley Center.
New Orleans/Oklahoma City plays the finale of a brief two-game road trip. On Wednesday, Kevin Garnett finished with 17 points, seven rebounds and nine assists as the Minnesota Timberwolves routed the Hornets, 88-69, at the Target Center.
Rookie phenom Chris Paul was the high-scorer with 15 points in the loss to Minnesota for the Hornets, who have lost seven of their last 10 games overall. David West was the only other Hornets player in double figures with 11, while Chris Andersen had eight off the bench.
Paul has scored in double-digits in eight straight games. He is averaging 18 points and 7.6 assists in that span. The Wake Forest product has registered seven double-doubles this season.
The Hornets, who are 5-9 on the road this season, have won two of three and four of the last six meetings in this series. They have lost three of four and four of their last six at Milwaukee.
