NBA Preview from The Sports Network

Thursday, December 22nd (All times eastern)

Cleveland Cavaliers (14-9) at Chicago Bulls (12-12), 8 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Cleveland Cavaliers take aim at their fourth straight win this evening when they head to the Windy City to face the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.

On Tuesday, Damon Jones scored all 12 of his points and was 4- of-6 from beyond the arc during the game-breaking third quarter, as the Cavaliers routed the Utah Jazz, 110-85, at Quicken Loans Arena.

LeBron James led all scorers with 25 points and Zydrunas Ilgauskas tallied 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Cleveland, which had lost three straight prior to its run.

Luke Jackson scored a career-high 14 points in garbage time and Drew Gooden contributed 10 points in the victory.

Cleveland, which will return home for two games after tonight's tilt, is 4-6 away from home this season.

Chicago, meanwhile, comes in on a losing note after falling at home to the Charlotte Bobcats, 105-92, on Tuesday.

Chris Duhon and Othella Harrington both netted 16 points for the Bulls, who have dropped two of their past three contests. Kirk Hinrich had 14 points in the loss, Chicago's first in six all-time meetings with the Bobcats.

On the injury front, forward Luol Deng sat out Tuesday's tilt with a bruised left knee. He should be ready to go tonight though.

Chicago, which will hit the road for three games after tonight's affair, will be wrapping up a three-game homestand tonight and is 5-6 in its arena this season.

The Bulls split their four matchups with the Cavs last season and could have the advantage tonight, as the home team in this series has won six straight and 15 of the last 19 meetings.
