New York Knicks (19-49) at Minnesota Timberwolves (28-41), 3:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The New York Knicks try to halt a four-game losing streak this afternoon when they visit the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center.
The streak reached four games after Friday's 91-75 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies at Madison Square Garden.
Eddy Curry compiled 19 points and 10 rebounds in the loss, New York's sixth in its last eight tries. Steve Francis finished with 11 points and seven assists for the Knicks.
New York will be the guest now and is just 2-14 in its last 16 road games. The Knicks are an abysmal 6-27 away from Madison Square Garden this season.
Meanwhile, the Timberwolves have dropped two in a row and nine of their last 11 games, including Friday's 97-77 loss to the lowly Toronto Raptors.
Kevin Garnett scored 15 points and grabbed 12 boards for the Timberwolves, who lost their second game in a row after winning two straight. Mark Blount scored 13 points. Marcus Banks, Rashad McCants and Ricky Davis each added 10 points.
The Timberwolves are 5-1 in their last six home games and 20-14 at the Target Center this season.
Sunday's game is the second and final meeting of the season between New York and Minnesota. The Timberwolves posted a 96-90 win on January 16th and have won seven of the last nine meetings.
New York has lost three of four and six of its last eight at Minnesota.
