Charlotte Bobcats (19-50) at Miami Heat (45-23), 7:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Miami Heat will try to end a brief two-game losing streak tonight when they host the Charlotte Bobcats at American Airlines Arena.
The Heat, seeded No. 2 in the Eastern Conference, suffered an 82-73 loss to the top-seeded Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night.
Shaquille O'Neal scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Miami, which has dropped two straight after winning five in a row. Dwyane Wade contributed 13 points and had nine assists for the Heat.
Miami, which is back in South Beach for a pair of games versus Charlotte and Indiana, has won three straight and 12 of 13 at home. The Heat are an impressive 26-7 as the host this season.
Meanwhile, the Bobcats will conclude a three-game road trip in Miami.
Charlotte has lost five of its last six games, including Wednesday's 120-118 overtime loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Raymond Felton had 30 points and 10 assists for the Bobcats, who have lost four in a row as the visitor. Charlotte will close out the road trip against Memphis on Sunday.
The Bobcats are 6-29 away from their friendly confines in Charlotte.
Charlotte lost the first three meetings with Miami this season. The Heat earned a 108-99 win on November 12, then notched a 91-85 victory on January 7. Miami made it three straight with a 106-105 overtime win on March 6.
Miami has won four in a row and six of the last seven meetings with the Bobcats, who have dropped three straight in South Beach.
