NBA Preview from The Sports Network

Friday, March 24th (All times eastern)

Orlando Magic (25-43) at Philadelphia 76ers (32-35), 7 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Philadelphia 76ers have a healthy Allen Iverson back and will try to make it two straight wins tonight when they welcome the Orlando Magic to the Wachovia Center.

Iverson missed four straight games, all losses, with an ankle sprain and returned Wednesday night to help the Sixers end their skid. Iverson scored 29 points and handed out 12 assists in a 115-106 win at the Wachovia Center.

Chris Webber added 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Andre Iguodala scored 17 points and collected 12 boards in the win for the 76ers, who still own the eighth and final playoff spot in the East.

Wednesday's win at home versus the Hawks was just the second win in nine tries for the 76ers, who are 1-3 in their last four games at the Wachovia Center. Philadelphia is 20-14 as the host in 2005-06.

Meanwhile, the Magic ended a two-game losing streak with Wednesday's 111-87 victory over the New York Knicks at TD Waterhouse Centre.

Dwight Howard had 23 points and seven boards, while Hedo Turkoglu added 16 points for the Magic, who won their fifth straight home contest. Jameer Nelson tallied 13 points, six rebounds and six assists in the victory.

The Magic will now hit the road where they have lost a franchise-record 16 consecutive games.

Orlando is 6-29 as the visitor this season and hasn't won at home since a 119-115 overtime victory against the 76ers at the Wachovia Center.

Friday's meeting between Philadelphia and Orlando is the third of four matchups this season. Orlando beat the 76ers on January 26 before Philly handed the Magic a loss on January 29. The two will meet again on April 15th at the TD Waterhouse Centre.

The 76ers have won two of the last three meetings and seven of 12 against Orlando, which has dropped four of its last six trips to Philadelphia.
