Thursday, March 23rd (All times eastern)

Golden State Warriors (28-38) at Dallas Mavericks (53-15), 8:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Dallas Mavericks go for their second straight win tonight, as they welcome the Golden State Warriors to American Airlines Center.

All-Star Dirk Nowitzki scored 12 of his game-high 28 points in the fourth quarter to lead Dallas to an 88-72 rout of the Houston Rockets on Tuesday at American Airlines Center.

Jerry Stackhouse tallied 16 points and Jason Terry scored 12 in the win over Houston for the Mavericks, who have won four of their last five games overall. The Mavericks shot just 40.5 percent from the field in the victory.

Dallas is an impressive 30-5 at home this season. It has won three in a row as the host.

After tonight's game, the Mavericks are scheduled to embark on a four-game road trip. They will visit Atlanta, Detroit, Cleveland and Orlando on the upcoming swing.

The disappointing Warriors try to get back on the winning track this evening. On Tuesday, Tony Parker scored a game-high 29 points and dished out seven assists for the San Antonio Spurs, who knocked off the Warriors, 107-96, at the AT&T Center.

Derek Fisher ended with 27 points and Jason Richardson netted 20 in the loss to San Antonio for the Warriors, who had their two-game winning streak halted. Troy Murphy contributed 15 points and seven rebounds, while Mike Dunleavy posted 11 points and eight boards in defeat.

Golden State is 10-22 on the road this season. It will visit Ron Artest and the Sacramento Kings on Sunday at ARCO Arena.

This is the third meeting of the season between the Mavs and Golden State. In the two previous contests, both clubs picked up a win on the road.

Golden State has won two straight after losing its last 12 at Dallas.

The Warriors are scheduled to host Dallas on April 12th at The Arena in Oakland in the fourth and final meeting of the campaign between the squads.
