NBA Preview from The Sports Network

Sunday, February 12th (All times eastern)

Portland Trail Blazers (17-31) at Toronto Raptors (18-32), 6 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Portland Trail Blazers try to halt a three-game losing streak this evening when they continue a seven-game road trip against the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre.

Portland slipped to 0-3 on the trip on Friday, as it found itself on the wrong end of a 115-83 decision to the Boston Celtics at TD Banknorth Garden. Zach Randolph paced the Blazers, who lost for the fourth time in their last five tries, with 14 points and six boards.

Jarrett Jack added 12 points off the bench while Travis Outlaw chipped in with 10 points in the loss.

On the injury front center Joel Przybilla missed the game with a knee injury and is questionable for tonight's tilt.

Portland, which will close its trek with stops in Charlotte, Oklahoma City and Los Angeles (Lakers), is 5-18 away from home this season.

Toronto, meanwhile, comes in on a winning note after Charlie Villanueva scored 24 points and pulled down six boards to lead the Raptors past Charlotte 87-73. Mike James scored 18 points and dished out eight assists for the Raptors, who snapped a two-game losing streak.

All-Star Chris Bosh posted 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Morris Peterson added 10 points and 10 boards.

The Raptors, who will hit the road for five games after tonight's affair, are just 9-16 in their building this season.

Portland defeated the Raptors earlier in the season, but could be at a disadvantage tonight, as the road team in this series is 0-6 in the last six meetings. The Blazers, though, have won six of eight and eight of the last 11 overall matchups.
