Seattle SuperSonics (24-38) at Los Angeles Lakers (33-30), 3:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Lakers go for their third straight win when they host the Seattle SuperSonics today at the Staples Center.

On Friday, All-Star guard Kobe Bryant finished with 29 points as the Lakers handed the defending world champion San Antonio Spurs a 100-92 loss at the AT&T Center.

Smush Parker ended with 18 points, Luke Walton netted 13 and grabbed 10 boards and Lamar Odom scored 13 points, pulled down eight rebounds and dished out nine assists in the win over the Spurs for the Lakers, who have won four of their last five games overall.

The Lakers are 17-12 as the host this season.

Seattle is fresh off of going 3-2 on a five-game homestand. Ray Allen had a game-high 38 points and dished out five assists to lead the SuperSonics to a 107-96 victory over Kevin Garnett and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday at KeyArena.

Rashard Lewis ended with 15 points and eight rebounds, Earl Watson netted 12 points and handed out 10 assists and Chris Wilcox scored 11 in the win over Minnesota for the SuperSonics, who have won two of their last three games overall.

The Sonics are a dismal 9-22 as the visitor this season. They have lost two straight and nine of their last 10 on the road.

This is the second meeting of the season between the clubs. On November 24th, Bryant scored 29 of his 34 points in the second half as the Lakers defeated the SuperSonics, 108-96, at the Staples Center.

The home team has won 10 of the last 14 meetings in this series, while the Lakers have won two straight and five of the last eight contests. Seattle has lost seven of 12 and nine of its last 16 at the Lakers.
