(Sports Network) - The Toronto Raptors try to put the brakes on a three-game losing streak, as they welcome the Indiana Pacers tonight to Air Canada Centre.
This is the second meeting of the campaign between the teams. On December 30th, rookie Charlie Villanueva finished with 25 points and 10 rebounds and All-Star Chris Bosh netted 22 pulled down 12 boards to lead the Raptors to a 99-97 come-from-behind victory over the Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse.
The Raptors have won two of the last three meetings in this series. Indiana has won three straight and four of its last five at Toronto.
Toronto concludes a three-game homestand. On Friday, Andre Miller scored 23 points as the Denver Nuggets knocked off the Raptors, 108-97, at Air Canada Centre.
Mike James collected 26 points in the loss to Denver for the Raptors, who have dropped nine of their last 10 games overall. Morris Peterson netted 20, while All-Star Chris Bosh recorded 18 points and 15 rebounds and Matt Bonner scored 14 in defeat.
The Raptors are 11-19 as the host this season. They have lost five of their last seven at home.
Indiana tries to win its second straight contest as it wraps up a three-game road trip. Peja Stojakovic scored a game-high 26 points, including a big three-pointer in the fourth quarter, to lead the Pacers past the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets, 92-90, at the Ford Center.
Stephen Jackson added 21 points and Anthony Johnson netted 12 in the win over the Hornets for the Pacers, who got a much needed victory after losing three of their last four games heading into Friday's contest.
The Pacers are 13-18 on the road this season. They have won four of their last six away from home.
