Los Angeles Lakers (3-2) at Philadelphia 76ers (2-3), 8 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Philadelphia 76ers continue their four-game homestand tonight, as they welcome Phil Jackson and the Los Angeles Lakers to the Wachovia Center.

Philadelphia won its first game of the homestand on Wednesday. Andre Iguodala matched a career-high with 22 points to go with seven rebounds and five assists, as the 76ers defeated the Dallas Mavericks, 112-97, at the Wachovia Center.

All-Star Allen Iverson netted a game-high 25 points and Kyle Korver poured in 20 points in Wednesday's victory for Philadelphia, which has won two straight after dropping its first three games of the season. Forward Chris Webber posted 19 points and 11 boards in the win.

The Sixers are scheduled to host the Clippers on Sunday and will close out their homestand on Tuesday against the Toronto Raptors in the first of a home- and-home set.

Philadelphia is 1-2 at the Wachovia Center this season.

The Lakers play the third contest of a four-game road trip. They are 1-1 on the trip and will play the finale of the swing on Monday against the Grizzlies at the FedExForum.

On Wednesday, Kevin Garnett scored 17 points and ripped down 15 rebounds, as the Minnesota Timberwolves knocked off the Lakers, 88-74, at the Target Center.

Kobe Bryant scored 28 points on 12-of-26 shooting in the loss to Minnesota for the Lakers, who have lost seven of their last 10 at Minnesota. Lamar Odom finished with 15 points and six rebounds before fouling out.

After their road trip, the Lakers return home for five games. They are scheduled to host New York, the Clippers, Chicago, Seattle and New Jersey on the homestand.

Philadelphia has won two straight and three of the last four meetings in this series. The Lakers have lost five straight and seven of their last eight in the City of Brotherly Love.

The Lakers and Sixers will play one more time this season. The Lakers will host Philadelphia on January 6, 2006.
