Sacramento Kings (1-3) at Denver Nuggets (1-3), 10:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Denver Nuggets attempt to rebound from loss tonight, as they welcome the Sacramento Kings to the Pepsi Center for the first of a home- and-home set.
The teams will play the finale of the set on Friday at ARCO Arena. Sacramento has won four of six and 12 of the last 15 meetings in this series.
Sacramento has lost seven of 11 and eight of its last 13 at Denver.
On Sunday, Kobe Bryant racked up 37 points and Chris Mihm netted 20 and pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds, as the Los Angeles Lakers posted a 112-92 victory over Denver at the Staples Center.
Carmelo Anthony scored 21 points in the loss to the Lakers, while Andre Miller netted 20 for the Nuggets, who have dropped three of four to start the year. Kenyon Martin recorded 17 points in the loss.
After tonight's game, the Nuggets will play three of their next four games on the road. They will visit Sacramento, Dallas and New Orleans/Oklahoma City and will host Minnesota on November 13.
The Nuggets are 1-1 at the Pepsi Center this season.
The Kings will try and get back on the winning track. On Tuesday, Tayshaun Prince scored 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting and Richard Hamilton added 21 as Detroit spoiled Sacramento's home opener with a 102-88 victory at ARCO Arena.
Detroit had lost eight straight and nine of its last 10 at ARCO Arena. The last time the Pistons defeated the Kings on the road was on February 26, 1996.
Bonzi Wells led Sacramento, which has dropped three of its first four games of the season, with 16 points in the loss to Detroit. Mike Bibby compiled 13 points, nine assists and six rebounds in defeat.
The Kings are 1-2 on the road this season. They return home for a four-game homestand after tonight's contest. Sacramento will host the Nuggets, New York, Utah and Milwaukee on the stand.
