Utah Jazz (40-40) at San Antonio Spurs (61-19), 8:30 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The defending world champion San Antonio Spurs continue to prepare for the upcoming postseason, as they welcome the Utah Jazz to the AT&T Center.
San Antonio can win the Southwest Division and will be the top seed in the Western Conference playoffs with a win tonight.
The Spurs have won the two contests between the clubs this season. Utah has lost 13 straight after winning its last two at San Antonio.
The last time the Jazz won in San Antonio was on February 28, 1999.
San Antonio, which has won three of its last four games overall, will try and make it back-to-back victories this evening. On Sunday, Beno Udrih led the way with 15 points to lead the Spurs over the Minnesota Timberwolves, 103-90, at the Target Center.
Manu Ginobili and Brent Barry both scored 14 points, while Tony Parker contributed 11 points and Tim Duncan netted 10 and grabbed eight rebounds in the victory.
The Spurs are an impressive 33-7 at home this season. San Antonio is scheduled to closeout the regular on Wednesday against the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center.
Utah plays the finale of a three-game road trip. On Sunday, Dirk Nowitzki ended with 22 points and seven rebounds to lead the Mavericks to a 111-95 win over the Jazz at American Airlines Center.
Carlos Boozer had 21 points and 11 rebounds in the loss to Dallas for the Jazz, who were eliminated from the Western Conference playoff race due to their loss and Sacramento's win against the Hornets on Sunday.
Mehmet Okur finished with 17 points and rookie Deron Williams scored 16 and dished out nine assists for Utah, which had a five-game winning streak halted.
The Jazz are 19-21 on the road this season. They finish the 2005-06 campaign on Wednesday against the Golden State Warriors at the Delta Center.
