Orlando Magic (18-25) at Atlanta Hawks (13-31), 7 p.m.
(Sports Network) - The Atlanta Hawks target their first three-game winning streak of the season this evening when they welcome the Orlando Magic to Philips Arena.
A win tonight would give Atlanta its first three-game winning streak since turning the trick from April 9-12, 2004.
On Wednesday, Joe Johnson recorded his first-ever triple- double with 15 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds, as Atlanta won 102-92 over the Charlotte Bobcats. Al Harrington scored 19 points, while Zaza Pachulia had 18 for the Hawks, who matched their win total of last season at 13. Last year Atlanta didn't secure win No. 13 until April 17.
Tyronn Lue netted 13 points, and Josh Smith finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
The Hawks, who will visit the Wizards on Saturday, are 9-14 in their arena this season.
Orlando, meanwhile, comes in on a sour note after dropping a 106-94 decision to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday at TD Waterhouse Centre. Steve Francis led the Magic with 21 points, but it wasn't enough to keep Orlando from losing its third consecutive game.
Dwight Howard tallied a double-double with 15 points and a game-best 15 boards.
The Magic were once again without the services of guard Jameer Nelson, who missed his sixth straight game with a foot sprain. He will likely be sidelined again tonight.
Orlando is already missing forwards Grant Hill (rehabbing from sports hernia surgery) and Bo Outlaw (sprained left knee)and center Kelvin Cato (sprained right ankle).
Outlaw, though, is questionable for tonight's affair, while Hill is expected back within the next week.
The Magic, who will host Boston on Saturday, is 6-14 as the visitor this season.
Orlando took three of four from the Hawks last season, but could be at a disadvantage this evening, as the road team in this series has won just five of the last 18 meetings.
